Glasses and Contact Lenses for Clear Vision

Eyeglasses and contact lenses are common and effective treatments for myopia management. These options provide your child with clear and crisp vision, addressing nearsightedness and allowing them to see the world clearly.

Controlling Myopia with Atropine Eye Drops

Atropine eye drops are an effective treatment option for managing myopia in children. These specialized drops slow down the progression of nearsightedness, serving as a protective shield for your child's precious vision. Our experienced team will guide you through the usage and benefits of these drops as part of our comprehensive myopia management approach.

Vision Correction with Orthokeratology

Orthokeratology, or ortho-k, represents a modern and innovative myopia management treatment. This non-surgical approach involves custom-designed, gas-permeable contact lenses that temporarily reshape the cornea. These specialized lenses work their magic overnight, gently correcting your child's vision, and are removed in the morning for clear vision during the day.

The various benefits of ortho-k make it an appealing choice for many parents.

  • Daytime Freedom from Glasses or Contacts

Ortho-k affords your child the freedom to see clearly throughout the day without needing eyeglasses or contact lenses.

  • Slows Myopia Progression

Research has shown that ortho-k can help curb the development of nearsightedness, potentially reducing the risk of more severe vision problems in the future.

  • Convenient and Safe

Ortho-k lenses are a safe and versatile option for managing myopia in children of various ages. They are easy to use and maintain, providing parents peace of mind.

  • Improved Self Confidence

Ortho-k lenses can significantly boost your child's self-confidence with clear vision without visible vision correction.

I came back to Crown after few years of seeing another provider. The difference in comfortability is... remarkable! I guess I didn't think there was going to be a huge difference when I went to the other provider, and, I honestly didn't think anything was necessarily wrong. That was until for some reason I went back to Crown. I can't remember the last time I was able to actually forget I was wearing glasses. That's the difference I am currently experiencing, my glasses are extremely comfortable/well fitting, and easy to transition from reading close, to viewing distances as well. Thank you Crown, I will return next year.
