Meet Dr. Amy Schaag (Florissant, MO)

Amy Schaag, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri–St. Louis in 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2011. Dr. Schaag became interested in optometry through her father, who is also an optometrist, and was drawn to the field by the problem-solving nature of patient care. She is an experienced optometrist focused on comprehensive eye care, with expertise in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eye, and neuro-ophthalmic disorders.

Dr. Schaag is a member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, and the St. Louis Optometric Society. She is also a member of the optometry honor societies Beta Sigma Kappa and Gold Key. She enjoys meeting a wide variety of patients and making a meaningful impact on their lives by improving their vision.
